Gardenia Gold Medal 2025 – awards for the best horticultural innovations
The Gardenia 2025 trade fair has once again become a place where innovation meets a passion for gardening. Among exhibitors from across the country and abroad, the winners of the MTP Group Gold Medal – a prestigious award given to products, services, and solutions that set the direction for the development of the gardening industry – enjoy particular recognition. The award-winning projects impress not only with their modernity, but also with their environmental friendliness, functionality, and aesthetics.
Professor Grzegorz Skrzypczak, chairman of the competition jury, praises the advantages of the award-winning products: "Each of the submitted products has a unique novelty, innovation, and practical application. One example is the award-winning lawn edging from STYROBUD-GÓRNO Piotr Radomski—it is not a single block system, but rather edging of various lengths. The innovation of this product lies in its different shapes and circumference diameters of varying lengths. It is aesthetic, solid, and provides a nice visual effect.

Bożena Chmielina from the company talks about the advantages of the award-winning product: our fertilizer products are made from waste from the agricultural, dairy, and wood industries as part of the circular economy. When used on flowers, vegetables, and fruit crops, in addition to providing the macro- and microelements necessary for proper growth and development, they are distinguished by their ability to produce humus in the soil and simultaneously deacidify it, which is the biggest innovation. Mineral fertilizers do not have this feature, as they only provide nutrients for plants and no longer have humus-forming properties.
Fot. FotobuenoThe AQUATOWER 10, 12, 15, and 22 rainwater tanks manufactured by MARSEPLAST Sp. z o.o. were also recognized. Their stable construction and resistance to weather conditions make AQUATOWER a modern and reliable solution. “The biggest innovation in this product is its wide range of applications for storing water for industrial, domestic, and food purposes, thanks to its PZH certification, which is essential in crisis situations, as stipulated in the Act of December 5, 2024, on civil protection and civil defense,” adds Piotr Maciejewski, Investment Service Coordinator at Marseplast.
Fot. As Professor Skrzypczak adds: "It's a different approach to gardening advice and professional courses in organic gardening. It is a new idea for promoting horticulture, drawing on the knowledge and practice of generations. The Angelic Gardens Academy is an educational program combining the KKZ “Gardener” Vocational Qualification Course, based on the Ministry of National Education's OGR.2 curriculum, with online courses, workshops, and demonstrations at a certified organic farm. Participants gain state qualifications and practical skills in the organic cultivation of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and the establishment of edible gardens.
