The 14th edition of the "Green in the City" competition begins

The National Association of Garden Creators and the International Fair of Gardening and Landscape Architecture GARDENIA are organizing the next, 14th edition of the "GREEN IN THE CITY" competition and invite landscape architects, greenery designers and students of universities educating in these fields to take part.

This is a competition for the best land development project in public space - this year's task concerns the development of the Maria and Lech Kaczyński Square, the Battle of Bzurą Square and the area between them with the Poznań Army Monument.

 


MAIN PRIZE IN THE COMPETITION – PLN 15,000

TOTAL PRIZE POOL - PLN 25,000

Deadline for submitting works: November 13, 2023


The list of winners will be announced online one week after the deadline for submitting works, and the ceremonial awarding of diplomas and exhibition of the submitted works will take place during the GARDENIA International Fair of Gardening and Landscape Architecture on November 23, 2023.

The area of the competition study is part of the urban and architectural complex of the city center of Poznań and the urban and architectural complexes of the city's cradle, the oldest suburb and the oldest districts of 19th century Poznań.

The squares are important elements of the greenery of the city center and the greenery accompanying the former fortifications (Citadel), while the centrally located Poznań Army Monument is an architectural dominant and a place of memory where numerous state ceremonies take place.

The author of the selected work may receive an order to prepare an executive design this year.

Design materials are free of charge and we send them by e-mail after receiving the application form.
