The International Garden and Landscape Architecture Fair GARDENIA is a partner of a unique event. Together with the FRACTAL Foundation, we create the Landscape Arena. For the first time in Poland, it will be possible to meet world-famous celebrities in the field of garden design in one place and listen to their lectures! The premiere edition of ARENA LANDSCAPE will take place on February 13th-14th, 2020. It will be an opportunity to meet outstanding designers, landscape architects from Poland and abroad in one place. The program includes over 20 hours of substantive events. It will be possible to listen to lectures by foreign guests regarding their vision and design philosophy. They will also review the portfolio of Polish landscape architects. The event will also include demonstrations and workshops conducted by partners on several stages. The event is addressed to landscape architects, representatives of the horticultural industry and to those professionals who specialize in establishing and maintaining green areas.



The main attraction of LANDSCAPE ARENA will be the opportunity to meet outstanding specialists from Poland and the world, winners of the most important and prestigious gardening exhibition, which opens the door to the international world of garden designers.


An outstanding British designer. Six-time award winner of the Royal Horticultural Society - "Best Show Garden" award, five-time winner of "Audience Choice" at the Royal Horticultural Society exhibitions. Winner of 13 gold medals of the Royal Horticultural Society. Chris is also known for his long television career, which began in 1997 at BBC2 on the implementation of such programs as "Gardener`s World", "Hidden Gardens" and the extremely popular "The Flying Gardener". He began his career over 18 years ago, at that time, implementing a large number of private and competition gardens from Great Britain to New Zealand. He is the author of many projects awarded at major gardening exhibitions. Author of many books, among which "100 plants that almost changed the world" won the Independent Publishers award in the USA. He is also the author of many press publications in prestigious gardening and lifestyle magazines.


She is an outstanding British designer, winner of "Best of Show" awards, recognized by the professional press as one of the most talented designers. By the opinion-forming monthly House & Garden, she was recognized as one of the "leading contemporary designers" and "the best designer of rural gardens". The Society of Garden Designers recognized her as "Designer of the Future" in 2014. Jo Thompson is the holder of the most prestigious award "Best of Show", which she received for the garden designed at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2010. She is also a laureate of four RHS Chelsea Flower Show gold and five silver medals. In 2017, she won the 'Audience Choice' award at the RHS Chatsworth Flower Show. He is a member of the RHS Gardens Committee and Garden Advisor for RHS Rosemoor, as well as a member of the RHS Show Gardens Selection Panel.


Publisher of Chinese Landscape Architecture magazine. The presentation of Hexian Jin will allow to confront the experience of European architects with design trends dominating on the Asian market. Hexian Jin is the president of the publishing house and deputy editor-in-chief of the Chinese Landscape Architecture magazine and a professor at Zhejiang Agriculture & Forestry University, School of Landscape and Architecture. She is the author of many scientific works and promoting landscape architecture and gardening. She specializes in research in the field of medicinal gardens, history and theory of landscape architecture. She also focuses on temple gardens. She constantly cooperates with many scientific institutions dealing with contemporary aspects of the natural environment, including the Shanghai Academy of Landscape Architecture and Planning. Hexian Jin will present in Poznań the latest solutions and concepts in the field of landscape architecture that are implemented in China.


She is a successful designer from Finland. Taina is a laureate of the silver medal of the Chelsea Flower Show 2019 exhibition for the "Roots in Finland - Kyrö Garden" garden. For over fourteen years she cooperated with leading British garden designers, including Carol Klein, Andy Sturgeon, Thomas Hoblyn, Paul Stone, Nigel Dunnett, Catherine MacDonald, Mark Gregory, where she managed teams responsible for planting in competition gardens prepared for Chelsea international exhibitions Flower Show and Hampton Court Flower Show. Taina is a development engineer (green roofs and greening the city) in the city of Vantaa located in the capital region of Finland. He mainly deals with roof gardens and green spaces in the city, also implementing his own project, Roslings Manor Gardens. Her perfectly recognizable projects are located in Vantaa at the National Housing Fair or the "Greenest of Green" apartment block in Helsinki in West Harbor, which includes green roofs, a kitchen for biodiversity in the kitchen, as well as a forest garden and a barge garden. In London, Taina collaborated with Professor Nigel Dunnett, creating a "Magical and dreamy" roof garden on the Barbican Center.

The lecture part of the LANDSCAPE ARENA will be enriched by workshops and plant cutting shows

This is a unique opportunity to see live presentation of cutting, forming and care of decorative trees and shrubs, carried out by professionals. Adult specimens of trees and shrubs will be brought to the market hall for shows. February 14th 2020 we invite you to free demonstrations and workshops conducted by the event's partners:
